The Illinois Baptist provides news, Baptist perspectives, and expert ministry advice to nearly 8,000 church leaders in Illinois, including every Southern Baptist church and pastor. Our “pass along” readership is almost 20,000. The Illinois Baptist State Association will publish 12 issues of the IB in 2026.

Classified ads

To place a pastor or other ministry position wanted ad with the Illinois Baptist newspaper, e-mail IllinoisBaptist@IBSA.org the contact person’s name, church name, ministry position opening, mailing address, web and/or e-mail address, and telephone number. Please include some basic information about the church such as its size and ministry setting to fit a 4–5-line classified ad.

Ads will appear for two consecutive issues. The Illinois Baptist is published on the first day of each month. They must be reserved two weeks before publication and received two weeks before publication. For additional information, e-mail IllinoisBaptist@IBSA.org.
