Church at home: LifeWay offers more resources for kids, instructions for free downloads

March 21, 2020 By Jack Lucas

I want to share with you all some information that LifeWay is freely sharing with churches to use during this time of social distancing. These are things you can share with your families, or be creative in using in your ministry to help families continue fun Bible studies during their time at home.

Currently, they’re offering resources for kids and preschoolers using the Bible Studies For Life curriculum. The next week’s content is made available every Friday morning. That way, your families have a full week to make use of these materials.

They will soon be adding The Gospel Project for Easter to give families Bible study activities for the week of Easter. Below are the steps to take advantage of these free helps through LifeWay Digital Pass.

Step 1: Go to my.lifeway.com/redeem

Step 2: Register if you are a new user or log in if you already have an account. This is completely free.

Step 3: Enter this redemption code: VZMD4SSQ38

Step 4: Click “Access” (if prompted to sign in again, sign in) and then click “My Dashboard,” and go to LifeWay Kids at Home.

Step 5: Download your Activity Page and One Conversation Sheet to use as you watch the video session. Content will be updated weekly as needed. Free to all churches and the families they minister to.

Here is another place to find this info.

Praying to satisfy a deeper hunger

Doug Munton

Editor’s note: Pastor Doug Munton posted this column on his website just as the first COVID-19 restrictions were implemented. Now, many months later, it seems an even more vital word as we contemplate life after the pandemic. Personal revival is a challenge in isolation; now our churches—and we ourselves—need a fresh wind of the Spirit […]

‘Sanctity’ beyond the unborn

Eric Reed

Ahead of each January issue, our editorial team asks, “How will we report on ‘sanctity’ this year?” The Sunday before the anniversary of the 1973 decision legalizing abortion in the United States is observed as Sanctity of Human Life on the SBC calendar. This year it falls on January 17. For many Southern Baptists, that […]

Start fresh with family worship

John Yi

Before my wife, Gloria, and I even married, we vowed to establish a rock-solid family tradition of daily devotions together. But after almost 25 years of marriage and building a family, we could count on a single hand the longest streak of consecutive days when every member had come together for family worship or devotions […]

Are you weary? Run on.

Aubrey Krol

We set up a makeshift pulpit in our dining room. With the camera balanced on cardboard boxes and books, my husband preached while I served as executive producer—a role I gained overnight. Immediately after his sermon, I taught children’s church via video conference from a desk in our bedroom. I also held an open invitation […]
