Springfield | In anticipation of the retirement of Jeff Deasy as head of operations, two IBSA team members were promoted January 1.
Ashley Parsons was named Administrative Director of Operations. She has served IBSA as accountant since 2017. Parsons holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Old Dominion University, and a Master of Science in Accounting from University of Connecticut. Her husband, Josh, has served as pastor of Western Oaks Baptist Church for 10 years. They are the parents of three sons.
Drew Heironimus has served IBSA almost three decades in technology, navigating the increasingly complex world of connectivity for churches and staff serving across Illinois. He joined the staff in July 1997 as information services specialist. He was promoted to Information Technology and Properties Director, with responsibility for facilities in Springfield, both IBSA camps, and the Baptist campus ministry building on the SIU campus in Carbondale. Heironimus holds an Associate’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Computerized Business Systems, and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Illinois. The Springfield native and his wife, Rachael, have two sons and a daughter.
