Bloomington | Pastor Ted Max sees his church’s building as a tool for ministry. The old tool has gotten smaller as the congregation has grown, said the lead pastor of Vale Church in Bloomington. Vale currently holds two services on Saturday evening and two on Sunday morning to accommodate church-goers.
“We realized we needed a new tool in order to become more effective in reaching our community in Bloomington-Normal and beyond,” he said.
On July 3, Vale officially broke ground where their new church building will soon stand. “We couldn’t be more excited to see what God is going to do in the coming years,” Max said. “God’s hand has been on this project from the beginning and we are so humbled God has chosen Vale Church to be a vessel of his love, grace, and forgiveness.”
